I had a slow and lazy day on Sunday. It rained slow and gentle
and my flowers stood with petals outstretched to drink it in. Lovely day to catch up
on back episodes of "The Good Wife."

I occasionally let Bennie into the backyard (where he's not allowed by himself because he digs for things and steps on flowers), and that keeps them at a distance for a while. They never even dare teasing him, LOL. But it gives the birds a chance to feed in peace - Bennie and they are keeping some kind of truce...
