Re:shamasehar

They don't like salt on their tales Shamasehar but being kind I like to drown them in beer.

I am with you I send the snails to the snail heaven. I am glad the cabbages are good. I love vegetables from a home garden. They just tast better.

Strange but we do run into people we try to avoid.😳It was a busy day for you and hope the snails find the way out of your garden.

CCT...I've been feeling like a pin cushion of late..

The night I had to spend in the ER (after my reaction to the PET Scan) they poked and prodded me so much I ran out of spots they could prod....

Re: Re: Jimmy

Believe it or not, C C T, I'm actually okay with needles. I thought I wasn't, but my last few trips to the doctor's involved several needles, for one thing or another, and I never cried out, passed out, or even winced in pain! Granted it's not something I would want to do on a regular basis, but when ya gotta ya gotta . . .

Re: Naut

Naut one has to get used to drinking it, just the same thing only more addictive,  when one's pills say don't drink unless you want to be zonked one just sips wine in moderation.

Re: Jimmy

Well Jimmy, there is a subtle difference, a small token of appreciation.   You would probably get a smack for being cheeky. I mean't to ask about about your dislike for needles, to see if it was general, but it slipped my mind.

That's the trouble Pat cycling is probably more of a hazard today and the helmet one has to wear here is not for the fashion conscious.Yes they still text , there is quite a fine here if they are caught.

Re: CCT.

Are you sure Crows eat slugs? Kabu . Crows are a bit timid here, rooks abound but they usually take bread or the walnuts when in season. Be careful driving.

Re: FS

Yes it is a job to lose weight when the steroids are  tending to do the opposite FS.

Re: Taps

We usually throw the cabbage away Taps although we prefer snails to slugs.

When you cook the cabbage, you are supposed to throw the snail in the pot for flavor.
I must confess I don't usually do what one is supposed to do.

It can be tough to lose weight and to find things that we need and want.

CCT.

everything is getting dearer and more all the time. Bit sad when one is on a fixed income. I used to get lots of snails in the garden in Sydney and I would throw them onto the road so the cars drove over them. Here I just see the odd slug..Ugh...The crows fix them for me.

It seems gasoline is even costlier there than here. It's enough

to make me think of buying one of those big tricycles they make for seniors. There
are miles of bike trails around here, and a bicycle lane alongside the regular traffic lanes
between here and the market, but I don't trust drivers these days - so many are texting as they drive. It's good you can reduce the steroids and lose a little - if you need to.
