We had no detention, we had Catholicism, The Presentation Brothers of Ireland and their black straps and violence instead of detention..........

I only had detention one time in my life, in 8th grade. They called it crowding in the lunch line. I was ignorant of the rules at that time, and I saw a friend that i wanted to lunch with in the line and I went and got in line with her. I was so embarrassed when i was charged with crowding I never did anything like that again. Had to stay after school for a half hour in a study hall.
