TAPS

I've seen some of the pictures - it's truly gut-wrenching, and my heart goes out to those poor people! We had some rain and strong winds today, and the wind damaged my umbrella. And as I began swearing a blue streak, it suddenly hit me - what's the matter with you, man - you're getting upset over a damaged umbrella???...

Very frightening, and it must certainly leave emotional scars on those who have lived through one. I can still remember the little one that blew through this area last year, where my son was....

Re: BC-A

I have now.  I went to search and watched the video.  They are everywhere--the tornadoes.

I just don't like the sound of Tornado Alley . I suppose one grows up amongst tornadoes .

Probably not so frightening in the old days , one was just swept away. Living beneath a Volcano is not so dusty either.

Jeepers that makes the fire drills we had regularly seem like a picnic. Poor Sis. It must be real disturbing for her.

Geez! Tough times in Missouri, eh? My wife and I have been watching and following those storms, and it seems as though Mother Nature is still pissed off at us for something! Stay safe . . .

These days they have active shooter drills, too. No rest in the rest home.

Your poor dear Jo.
You may recall my aunt spent 25 years in a Catholic nursing home. She lo ed though and the nuns took such good care of her. She was always happy to see me when I visited. But equally glad when I left. I miss her.
