Live, in my case here in the Southern Ontario Section of Canada, and learn! I didn't know about the Pétun, or the derivation of the petunia's name, obviously. Very interesting...And I love the pic...

Oh dear Taps they are so easy to grow, but I liked your history  of the plant. Pass my spittoon.  I have several boxes for the old folk but they don't like the frost and one cannot wonder why.

i buy the plants too Taps dear. Here summer is so short I want to get all the color I can for as long as i can and I find petunias flower all through the color months.  But they are not around up here yet so I will enjoy looking at yours. Thank you.

That is some very interesting information about petunias. They look very nice...Whenever I hear of petunia, I cannot help but think of Porky's girlfriend.
