I've heard of people 'getting into their work,' but it might be a little too extreme when it comes to a garden! Being 'one with nature' is one thing, but I'm not entirely sure if I would want to share the experiences of a tomato plant! I'm just teasin'. It's obvious you really enjoy working in your garden, and that's wonderful. My wife is the same way. Only she'll have to wait a bit longer this season. Old Man Winter really did a job on her garden area, and it's going to take a lot of tilling to bring it back to life. But that's part of the enjoyment, isn't it? We'll see . . .

I know Jean sniff, sniff as we cut a squeaking lettuce , or Oh! that hurts as we take a stalk of flowers.  All those faithful little plants waiting patiently in rows. I suppose we must not be too sentimental things go to seed eventually. Hope you have as good year I am trialling different flowers to see if they are suitable for cut flowers as I want to sell some for charity.

Gardens are so rich, from the warm earth to the sprouts and spreading trees

I like the perception and awareness of all your garden.

what a lovely post. Tomorrow I am going out to talk to all those tiny shoots that are coming back after such a long cold dormant Winter. And I might talk encouragement to the trees to get the Summer dress on quick as they can so that we can enjoy their beauty together.

I like your use of personification with the plans in your garden.
