And what a crazy episode it was! But I know what you mean about those cell phones! I remember one of my sisters telling me that she had to use her cell phone to call my nephew on his cell phone to dinner one night . . . from the other side of the house! I almost wished she hadn't told me that! Perhaps people should go back to banging a triangle and just yelling "Dinner time!" And my wife and I both wonder sometimes how we might fair driving on 'the other side' of the road. But then we consider how high our insurance premiums already are . . .

Maybe they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I hate cell phones. You go to
lunch with someone, expecting a conversation and they spend the whole time focused
on texting or talking with someone else. It really ticks me off.

Sometimes if it is not used for a certain time one loses the balance Kabu.

I try and ring myself once a month just to keep the phone active everyone wants to know

one's mobile number .I just say I have not got one ,  They are handy in a breakdown or an emergency. I don't like the darned things anyway. You need a megaphone.

I still have a flip phone as it is called, a cellphone without all of the fancy gadgets. I have a landline at my house, too. I hardly use it, but it is the most economical way to tie into my alarm system...I have heard some people call cellphones mobile devices.
