Yeah, those outdoor games are probably just a money-making venture. And although I am a huge hockey fan, it really wouldn't make any difference to me if they never have them again. And I must disagree about increasing the size of the net. To me, one of the things that makes hockey so enjoyable is the fact that scoring is so difficult. You never know when a goal is going to be scored. Some of the most exciting hockey games I've ever seen were 1-0 victories . . .

The novelty will wear off if it's overdone.

I do feel that the League is running the risk of the novelty wearing off...I mean, I know that they will always be able to sell a game or two a year in hockey hotbeds such as Boston, New York/New Jersey, etc., but for television purposes, less is more.
