I was educated in working as an entrepreneur, and my formal education was abysmal. However I graduated at age 55 and received my Ontario Diploma plus one year of psychology with York university.
I salute your courage in becoming so well educated. I have to respond to your blog simply with my life's university learning, and some things I learned which may be of use to you.
"They offered me $50,000 to settle. I was encouraged to request a larger amount and not settle. It was assumed they would put anything on my record after the fact. The decision was reversed upon appeal. "
First of all by my reckoning, you responded to the offer out of FEAR of what may happen. If it had been me I would have happily taken their $ 50,000.00, which would have left you the opportunity to FIGHT them with their money. Then they would be extremely worried about what you could put on their record, "after the fact."
Once you had their money, that would have been a positive win, which any half decent lawyer would be able to build something formidable for you.
C'mon, you live in America, most of whom have become the world,s greatest litigators, seems to me you must only become litigious and keep on winning, 'bon courage'.

I'm sorry that you're facing so many difficulties. The machinations in organizations off all types can be positively Byzantine, and clearly cause much anguish and hardship. It's definitely worthwhile to draw attention to specific cases such as yours, and I wish you success...

This 'scenario' seems fairly prevelent throughout history, the strong and powerful praying on and manipulating the weak and disconnected. And in recent years, I have read of similar incidences in different systems, businesses and corporations. And of course, it is blatantly unfair. It's nice to see that somebody is fighting back! It goes without saying that I'm sure you have the full support of your Blog-it family. Best of luck . . .

Thank you. Be supportive of your friend, please purchase the pamphlet. I will send links to e-mails to bring attention to this school district that is operating contrary to laws in this day and time. Such blatant disrespect and disregard for rights and liberties has no place. It needs to stop.
