I know one thing - most of your Christmases and New Years past were warmer, which is not to be sneezed at, since they didn't give you sneezes, as my Christmas present has done to me...

Oh, very nice post! I enjoyed it all the way. What I liked most was this little bit: "as I settle back warm and cuddled in Wiley's arms." I just love that thought for I can feel how safe and satisfied you feel.

I'm with you, Grandmummy. Even before my Great Grandpa's death, I never fancied rining in the new year. I used to want to go back to London or Sydney to see it come in, but not anymore. It just doesn't mean anything to me. Not that I'm not grateful to see the coming of a new year. Indeed, I am. It's just such a painful time for me. Especially now.
But I will give thanks for my life and my countless blessings. Love you.
