TAPS

TI’ve been librarian of the Garden Club. The cabinet of books was in the basement of the municipal building. Recently I found the library book on earthquakes that I used for Faults on a clipboard on top of my textbooks. It became A $1.10 book love.  BC-A, Bill's R®st

I was the family book nut and one very favourite book that was my father's that he seemed constantly, Samuel Pepys Diary that I skim over now and again. Happy New Year

I love books too, new and old, on shelves, in a book store or a library ...best of all tucked up with me in bed while I read the wonder of someone else's words. The story that they tell.

I remember back when I was in high school how much I enjoyed going to the library to do my homework.

Yes Taps it is a job to get a real good E book. I prefer paper but I have a set of Dickens  I really must read one day, only they must be near the original writing and sometimes a bit grueling.

I've always hoped that others would feel the way you do, concerning books in general. With the Nook and other computer reading apps out there, we may actually see the demise of the 'printed book' in our lifetime. What a shame. My current list of "Books I would still like to read" has probably hit the thousands by now. When oh when . . .

I'd be jealous, too, if I were the jealous type... Lucky girl to work

in a bookstore. And I want to go immediately to the Inn of the Anasazi...(sp?)  Santa Fe must be wonderful this time of year, maybe a little snow. What a warm, inviting video tour on your link.

Re: Ciel

Thank you for the invite.   Son & DIL were just fussing at me last evening because I haven't been to Orlando for a long time.  I guess that needs to come first if I decide to get going.

If you should ever make that tour to New Mexico,

don't forget I have a lovely guest room here in CoSprings!
