It gets one in the spirit to decorate the house and outside. I haven't quite gotten to the outside yet. Texas has been in the 20 degrees here with so many pile-ups of traffic and closed schools since last Friday. We just don't have those snow plows and things to help us deal with the white stuff. But oh, how beautiful it is to look out and enjoy from a warm home. Thankfully the temp is rising today with sunshine. Thanks for sharing your pics. All of them are lovely. Glad to hear Wiley is back on blogit and writing again, too.

the gnome
I love the Christmas decorations. They are awesome. I have not yet been able to reach the mood of putting out more than a few small ones, and they are the ones that actually remain out all year round. Snowglobes etc. I do love the gnome, it is awesome and completely cute.

Mud , mud, glorious mud. I am a bit wary of snow lest the tunnels collapse under the weight . I shall have to make a compliant to the neighbors opposite they have real poor display of lights this year. It is really not good enough. I know the old chap is nearly ninety, but some of us feel we are over an hundred.

It is cold here too and it has snowed almost every night for a week but there is not too much on the ground down here, but enough that we have to scrap it off to feed the birds outside...Your home looks so warm and cozy.

At least, in the Winter, you can suppliment the heating costs with warm clothes. In the heat of Summer, you can only take off so much and still be hot! And I must ask . . . just what is Mr. Graysome up to in that pic? It seems as though you'll have to keep an eye on him constantly . . .

I hope this Christmas is the very best you two could have ever, even if your children are grown up. I see one little furry one who is loving it. You have Jesus, each other and Mr. Grayson (hope I spelled that right). You have things looking so festive. xoxoxoxo
