I agree to an extent. If you're going to post an article, you should at least have a legitimate reason for doing so, and have some thoughts, opinions and perspectives to share along with it. There have been times when someone posted something that I honestly hadn't heard about. Perhaps not everything needs a forum and a discussion attached to it . . .

Jemmie I am still grateful for that too, because maybe I wouldn't have
otherwise come across that stuff. But as you say, it will lose the life and charm of this cyberspace, if most of us resorted to it.

That kind of thing irritates me no end too, Jemmie. Especially because a really good friend I made here was kicked out for supposedly "spaming" this kind of material, which he didn't.

Well OB I think you deserve more comments than you get . I have not really seen many items copied, but perhaps I am too dim to recognize them. I do agree though we should be as original as we can even if it means just sayings things like Blogit is becoming smaller and we who are here have to learn to live with the foibles of the remaining survivors.
