CCT..sounds like one of the many commercials we get around here

on tv, advertising meds for everything under the sun BUT, watch out for the following side effects....then they name off a list a mile long, including those that "could" cause death..."Pop Gunn's Aphrodisiac - it'll cure ya or kill ya"....

Re: jimmy

Probably be worse Jimmy from what I have experienced. Try not to kneel on floors without using a cushion always wear a mask when breathing in dust.Try to avoid loud noises such as music in your car. Of course never open cans of worms.

I hope one day I'm never refered to as Old Lucky Jim! I try to remain pain-free as much as possible! And just remember to keep those worms outside before you attempt to make that coffee! You don't want to get those two cans mixed up . . .

Re: FS

The problem is FS most folk want a higher standard of living than is really practical. You cannot blame them, but it is living on borrowed time.

Re: Kabu

I can't get these roses to come at the end of a reply the little divils shoot across to the beginning. You would not want a Gnome that lively at the moment. Well I don't really like snow it melts here as you know and makes a mess. I love to see it snowing though, be careful driving.

Re: One thing I'm thankful for is your daily posts...

Well I was wondering only yesterday Pat if I posted too frequently and was creating a kind of boring blog. Thanks for the adrenaline shot/

Re Naut

That sounds a bit miserable Naut, especially if you were having spaghetti for lunch.  Yes it is wonderful to be offered pills when one no longer suffers from the complaint.

CCT

When I was a student, just a couple of years ago or so, I spent a night with a crew picking dew worms at a golf course - they sell them as fishing bait. I only did it for one night - I felt I was in danger of turning into a bird...And yeah, I too get these irresistible offers for happiness pills...

One thing I'm thankful for is your daily posts...

Good for you my friend...nice poem and it is lovely to see flowers still coming. I have nothing left except everything is white with snow..one doesn't need a Chirtmas tree as such there are hundreds outside all covered in snow...One hopes to beat the Gnomes to the Santa gifts...

Reading the journal portion reminds me how tough these times are...I like the rhyme scheme in the poem a lot.
