Re: Doctors in Canada

Some went to Australia too and i went to a dentist in Sydney once and it was dirty and a disgrace and the Dentist owner was from South Africa. A lot of really wealthy people fled to Australia thinking that with the end of Apartheid that they would be slaughtered.

Doctors in Canada

I was made to understand that if all the ex-patriate doctors from South Africa decided to up a go somewhere else, the whole Canadian Health System would collapse. These are the people who fled to Canada for fear of black rule; the apartheid regime of the past told them we would scalp them and make pillows out of their hair and then drive them into the sea when we came into power. Imagine sleeping on such a pillow- the nightmares you would have! I am glad Wiley escaped the clutches of those quacks in Pembroke.

Kabu

I'm very glad that Wiley is finally getting the attention and help he deserves! And I remember stopping at Eganville a few years ago - very nice little place...

Well that's our Wiley sorted .. I suppose the guys are out there

it is just getting connected. How far is 25k in miles,

If you had to pay £1-50 a litre for petrol you might wish it was nearer.

Anyway glad to feel that you are both happier again.

I wish I lived in a little hamlet, but all the nobs have holiday homes

now and put up signs saying' Don't walk on the grass. '

What did the therapist do? Sit you on his lap.

People watching is quite a serious passtime for some.

Be careful what you wish for! That "Hamlet" sounds marvelous, but also sounds like it could be ruined by developers turning it into a tourist spot! Perhaps it would be better to leave it as it is. And I too used to like walking the mall and people watching . . . until every other person walking by was compelled to be gabbing on a cell phone! Now I can't be bothered. Glad Sir Wiley is doing better . . .
