CCT...we settled on an HP ProBook for a laptop....
I think Acer builds them for Hewlett Packard?, or vice versa?...our new desktop is also an Acer..
..

I've been tempted to get a new one, but temptation in this case doesn't have its usual vigour! It comes loaded with Windows 8 - a complete turn-off for me...

absolutely. We have to have our lap tops and one at the desk for we are two different identities and it is our one big love...writing and keeping in touch. Enjoy.

Indeed it will! Upgrading and/or updating anything today technology-wise is always difficult and time-consuming, but you will be better off in the end! Take your time, get everything situated, and then come on back . . .

Good luck Rumour thankfully Arthur built two for me, so if they go wrong he has to sort them out. What Laptop did you get eventually?
