I really like snakes, and you have some nice examples here! And speaking of those that bite - I learned a little verse once that's highly useful in dealing with snakes, it has to do with distinguishing poinsonous from non-poisonous ones: Red next to black is a friend of Jack, red next to yellow will kill a fellow! There's one in one of your pics that has red next to black - good to see, LOL...

beautiful creatures. I know not everyone likes them, but I find the snakes fabulous creatures, although I think dangerous ones should be left alone.

When my daughter lived in Key West, there were lots of
lizard critters, Gecko I thought she said they were. I don't mind 'em if I see them first, but any time I catch a sudden sideways move out of the corner of my eye, it creeps me out.

Definitely not my favorite. I'll take trees and leaves and rocks and skies any old day over reptiles. LOL
