This is a stumper. I worked in the fashion business for 20 years and I can tell you it is in the eye of the beholder. Models are not attractive they walk with one foot over the other as if disabled, they are skinny as a bean pole, they have not one ounce of love and joy to show you and yet together with your garment they present it as if it were a golden beauty. I don't know what attractive is. I think CC may have it right. God created us to reproduce. Women lose that sort of attractiveness after menopause. They are still beautiful but not as sexually attractive they are not supposed to be. They can be as sexy but it is a quite sort of sexiness and youth is a noisy sexiness. You may want to delete this I am more confused than when I began.

So we can break basic attraction down into two categories...the sexual side of attraction and the emotional side of attraction. Two very separate things. I think females must be emotionally attracted before they can be physically attracted but I think men find it easier to be just physically attracted without the emotional attraction. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Well honestly I think it a kind of sexual attraction.
One can look at a beautiful woman and feel unmoved.
One can look at someone who one knows is kind and gentle
and would be forever loving, but it is no use.
There is a streak of something in us all that defies common sense
and lets a stream of emotion first trickle and then roar through our minds
sometimes one is lucky.

A person can look drop dead gorgeous or like a hunk, but those are surface qualities...I mean, if they're handsome or gorgeous that's great, but these inner qualities are what really count...
