Very wise. Also might be a good idea to contact your local police. If it's a con game they may be able to trace him through the background info on his email. Also, if you don't know the sender, it's better to just delete an email. Opening it can give them access to your entire contact list.

I am frightened by all this because I hate to think of people i know or even don't know who are being conned. Someone called Allan keeps emailing me that I have hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars that I earned this month.....If I don't click here I will lose the money. I click delete every month.

I too detest con artists! A few years ago I strung along this Nigerian guy whose message I had found in my mailbox, making him believe I had bought his story, and had a bit of fun with him for a while, until I got bored with it...

not all Mystery shopping is a scam its those that give you a check to cash for them.  I have successfully been doing them for years and I have never been scammed.  There are all kinds of scams going on but you have to know a scam when you see one.It is a good way for some of us retired people to make some money
