Sometimes it's as though the Republicans and Democrats are a married couple ( you decide which is the wife and which is the husband. It probably doesn't matter ). While they bicker and argue between themselves, the children ( that's all of us, of course ) suffer! Daddy won't let mommy treat herself to a new dress, so no dessert tonight! Mommy won't let daddy invest in a classic car, so no new clothes for school! And neither one will talk civil to the other, so everyone hide in your rooms until their "tiff" blows over. I think it may be time for mommy and daddy to simply go away, and let the children raise themselves! We'll probably do a better job of it anyway . . .

Australia is a model for some good things, like gun control. As to the other, it is better to tweak and try, than to sit around moaning about things that clearly aren't working. I suspect we agree on that point, too!

well I can't comment love being as it isn't my country but i do know that here and in Australia, the health care is always being tweeked as you suggest....sometimes for good often to cost people more.
