Been a long time since I got picked for a jury. I don't think I'll be doing it again. I think I'm old enough to just refuse.

I wish they would stop that jury duty nonsense! Other countries have "professional juries." Why don't we . . . ?

of course you would serve if you were asked to but I am glad for you that you were passed over. Now you can do other things for you never sit still.LOL

Fortunately for me, jury duty was a relatively smooth process back in February 2009, the only time I went.
