Makes one wonder if houses were losing value if the same scenario would be in evidence. Tough world Sam don't spend too much on the house until you sign the deed

JUst a thought, it is very questionable to improve on this house until you legally own it. The people involved have never acted right and I am suspicisous of them and their motives. I liked Utah Jay's comments and Kabu's also, as well as the others. Proceeding with caution might be in order since something could be rotten in Denmark. Why do them any favor until you are sure of their good will in this matter? I keep flashing back to all my lost cash on home businesses I just had to have, but that is just me.

just stay cool love...Rumour is that Interests will godown again to forestall a slowing down of the economy. Next year there are more Federal elections and such...the people who make the rules up to suit themselves, may get nervous cos they have to get that re-election....

I hope you hold off on doing any more improvements and just wait it out....otherwise that's a lot of money that you could be flushing ...keep asking yourself what could be better than this?

All of this, each and every part of it has not been fair to you. I wonder if there is someone in your state government, the department of consumer affairs, who could light a fire for you. I remember once, our insurance was dragging its feet on paying a claim, I called our Utah State insurance commision and the claim was paid that next week.
