Marrise, I really suggest you buy a tin of spider deterrent it is made from horse chestnuts and does what it says on the tin. A little word in your shell-like don't confess if you do not have to do so.

So we settled on Charlotte, eh? Hrumph! I still liked Peter better! But I do understand your hesitancy in keeping any of them around. I'm not a big spider fan either! You might have been able to live with one near the house, like out in the yard someplace, but they were obviously getting too close for comfort! Shake off that guilty feeling . . .

Enough is enough I agree with you my darling friend. Sweet Charlotte Parker Dandy on her own was acceptable since she was so determined to keep making her web but an infestation is NOT FUNNY!!! I would be creeped out. Oh and the black magic feelings hon!!!take that broom of yours and sweep them outside and over the balcony and away with the wind. then wash the floor and that will be that!!

Don't feel bad Mariss, all things must come to an end sooner or later. I think there are only two poisonus spiders in the US, the black widow and the brown recluse. Of course the black widoe is black with a red hour glass on it's belly, and the brown recluse has the shape of a violin on its back, but I doubt it was one of them, they are very secretive and are seldom caught out in the open...I'm not even sure if they make webs.
