A good memory Pat, I wonder if the lad now owns or did own a fishery . I seem to remember that quote in an old film.

I'm happy I went back if for nothing else than my self esteem.

You did well with that Q our Pat. and of course I love your tales and remembering. I wonder what happened to that lad...he did get some education I suppose. I taught my children the importance of education showed em too by going back to school and they are passing it onto their kids.

The last part of your story reminds me that a new movie is coming out this week--a new Lone Ranger movie with the main character being Tonto.  Johnny Depp will be Tonto telling previously untold stories of the Lone Ranger.  It looks like it is going to be a lot of fun.  Son and I were watching the four trailers and decided we want to see the movie.

Great fun! I had always thought you had made up the name 'Mossyrock', and here I find out it actually exists!

I went and visited, of course, walked around on Williams St. and then drove out along East State, which later becomes Mossyrock Rd East, I think, although the signage isn't always clear. It was a wonderful, sunny day, and I was tempted to stop at Smith & Son's grocery to grab a coke, but decided to stick to my diet and the water I've got with me. I drove out along Mossyrock Rd E for a while - it's a gorgeous area...
