I went back quite a ways looking at your spring pics trying to remember if you have any dusty miller.  I really like it, but also the little house finches and other small birds love its soft fuzzy petals for lining their nests.  I didn't know this until my Baltimore Sis sent me a pic of her porch plants and the birds carrying off little pieces of dusty miller.  Now I want to get out and get some and propagate it around where I feed the birds.

I hope Wiley feels better soon! And it's good to hear that adnohr is fine, I was beginning to wonder...And you sure are busy in your garden! But then, the odd glass of wine helps...

With your tender, loving green thumb and your Gnomes on sentry duty, I am sure your garden should do just fine.

Hope Wiley feels better soon.  He doesn't strike me as someone who likes being "down" for very long and is probably getting impatient with the "try to be patient" advise.
