It might have been a bunny in a hutch.

Re: Kabu,
wild fires start so easily in an area like this where we have high, dry winds, and humidity is in single digits, and lightning strikes when there isn't much rain, and people are careless and stupid about cigarette butts, and other things... Waste of time for a terrorist to start anything. Terrorists, remember, aren't all about how much damage they can do, they are about... well, terror. They'd have to claim to have started it, to accomplish their goals.

What a shame!
I can't imagine the level of devastation those people are facing. But I'm very glad to hear about all the animals that were saved, and can't help but wonder how they ever managed to catch a bunny - those suckers are FAST!

I just pray for the people of that area. We hear so much about
silly politicing and stuff and hardly a word about such devastating horror as the fires. perhaps they were started by terrorists...easy way to do great harm every year.
