I liked all of my grades except one term in 8th grade I decided I did not like the Social Studies teacher.  He was always flirting with the girl students and he was not at all appealing.  I fought back by deciding not to do any homework for that class and since all his tests were on what was covered in homework, I had an F on my gradecard.  That woke me up in a hurry and I amended my study habits.  By the semester grade, I had brought it up to C.  I never made anything lower than a B otherwise.

That is very good, then mom and dad were pleased too.

My grades were always good

except in math class, where I struggled.

But I dreaded report cards because of the comments. Always the same: "Mia talks too much in class".

Report Card

You did well in school, I struggled through grade and high school, then excelled in college.  I think that was because I got to chose what interested me when I attened college! lol

I never got excited about the card or teacher comments. School was the one place in my life where I never competed against anyone about anything. All I had to do was to complete my assignments and speak when spoken to while obtaining information from teachers who cared for me. I became a teacher by default for I did not want that responsibility.

I still have my Report Cards...

and yearbooks from High School...a friend of mine kept absolutely every paper he brought home from school from kindergarten right on through (now that is just a "wee" bit extreme...)...
