I once was in one of those antiques malls, it seemed I only made enough to pay the rent so we moved out as well. I suppose that one day the world will come to an end, it does for someone everyday...I wonder if that is what they mean when they hold their signs up saying the end is coming soon...I hope you find lots of treasures, happy hunting.

Where I live the water is staying down there in the Lake where it belongs, and I'm happy to say that we haven't got an tornadoes either - I think in these parts Armageddon won't be happening for a while yet...

I am like you doing the Ostrich thing. Maybe it has something to do
with age. I know that if I tried to help I would be told to go home and I know that if I gave away all my small money amount that I would be a burden on others...

I imagine our home construction will have to change to withstand
extreme winds, and maybe new homes will all come with escape hatches to let the family take refuge underground. As for those rumors of Armageddon, they've been circulating since before the printing press and radio -- fear sells a lot of ads.

Yeah, my wife and I have been reading about such things for quite a while now, and you can look at it as either the beginning of the end, or the end of the beginning! Mother Nature has been pissed at us for a long, long time now, and is probably trying to shake us off like a bad case of fleas! I hope I'm not around when the fourth, fifth or sixth shoe drops either! By the way, I'll have my lemonade over ice, please . . .
