pat, alot of the sales we go to are living estates, people just downsizing and such.

Come on JS  you did not really need any of those things, it was the thrill of buying something at a bargain price. I could do with an easy chair but I have three, another would be perfect though. OK I'll let off with the cleaning materials and the peroxide.

Nothing wrong with trying to keep things as neat and clean as possible! Do I detect a bit of a Felix Unger in you . . . ?

I'm thinking of having a sale -- almost an estate sale of my own.

So much stuff I need to pitch. Knick-knacks, books, unused Yankee candles, small items I thought would make interesting jewelry back in the day when I was working with Sculpey and other permanent clays. I'll recycle another bushel or two of plastic containers I'd planned to use as foundations for paper mache sculptures. Don't do that any more. And clips I cut out of magazines, file folders full of them. They'd make unique bits for scrapbooking or decopauge.  Makes me tired just to think of organizing all that and spending the day negotiating...

I love estate sales!  I got some of my best furniture in the house from them.

I have never gone to an estate sale. It sounds interesting.
