It's so sad

that those poor women were ignored by everyone for so long. Hopefully they will be able to heal, and find a way to move on to live happy lives!

you don't have to be in a boarded up house for something to be going wrong...instead of closing windows and turning a blind eye when you see someone you know hit his wife/child....

Yeah, there still seems to be a few pieces of the puzzle missing concerning that entire affair, and who knows if the whole truth will ever come out! And unfortuanely, I'm sure there are many other young women in a similar situation out there. Hard to believe sometimes, but this is the world we now live in . . .

It was horrible Marrise and as you say it may still be happening. I don't think such things would have been so possible in the past. These days one hardly knows ones neighbours.  As a man said to me the other day, when he was a boy he even knew the names of the dogs and cats in the village and now he hardly knows anyone.
