I also agree with Naut (I wonder if he ever gets tired of hearing that...!?!). If your agent isn't willing to do it, there's no reason you can't make a few calls and try to get things rolling!

guess they have their hands full with house sells and they dont hire enough people to handle the paper work because they cheap a..es

Since everything seems to hinge on the seller's lender, presumably a bank, you might want to find out from your agent which one that is and get in touch with someone there! Make noise, rattle the cage...
