I think I would go bad to sleep with such gentle sounds.  I have the perky chirrup of a host of tiny birds (sparrows, I think)

That is a great way to start the day! We have a pair of mourning doves who coo outside of our bedroom window each dawn letting us know it's time to get up! Much nicer than a crowing rooster . . . !

I love it when, every springtime the chickadees and robins return and serenade us.  Such sweet imagery here...

It is always a wonderful way to start the day :)  We had a renegade rooster starting our morning for a little while, but my dog scared him off to someone else's yard in the mornings.
