I have been writing alot of my history here on blogit in bits and pieces...someone writes something that jars a memory loose...

several in my family have done family histories and are active in preserving historys.
i have done some volunteering, and recently i went to the nearest public grade school and wanted to volunteer, they acted totally uninterested and took my number and said they would call me, they never did.
my husband and i stopped at a corner today and a yound man with a young woman and a small baby in her arms were begging. he was holding a sign that said i need work, anything will help.
