If I were you I'd put my foot down and go for plants! Backdrops belong on the stage! On the other hand, if you plan for some drama in your new abode...

Wow! Sounds like there is "much to do!" I hope you're taking pictures as you go along. There's nothing quite as spectacular as the "before" & "after" pics of a home improvement job! Good luck . . .

Or at least "after." I hung wind chimes on one of my porch hooks, a plant goes on the other, and I have to hope the Sparrows don't set up housekeeping there. again.
