A great mix of choices, FSI!

I attended an Elton John concert a few moons ago..:) The last famous person I saw was Bill Cosby, non-musical, lol, but he was amazing..

The BEST concert I ever saw was Pink Floyd (with David Gilmour, although I did see Roger Waters more than once too). AC/DC was a close, close second (Angus is a hoot!), and I never missed Ozzy when he came to town. Saw Paige & Plant, Van Halen, Supertramp, and Bob Dylan more than once and he didn't impress me on stage, although I love his CD's. Others too, and one who really surprised me, because I didn't expect to like her show, was Tina Turner. She was HOT!! I've heard Lady Gaga puts on a real good show, hope you get to see her!

A life time of Concerts dear friend....but do see the older artists if you

can for they must be coming to the end of their concert days.. I mean these bands were my heartthrobs when I was a teenager, just a kid.

I have seen Led Zeppelin (twice), Clapton, Ringo and George, one of my favorites was the Cowboy Junkies, but I would really love to see Van Morrison before it is too late for both me and him.

I would love to see Led Zeppelin as well, but that's impossible now! After drummer John Bonham died in 1980, for all intents and purposes, Led Zeppelin was no more. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones all felt the same way . . . Bonham could not and would not be replaced, even with his son Jason. However, my concert-going days are over too. The last concert I saw was during Rush's Presto tour, back in 1990, and I paid $150 to stand on my seat for two hours! Exhausting!

I would like to see Led Zeppelin, too! I never cared for the Beatles growing up but became a fan of theirs when I was much older! I just couldn't take all the screaming of the female fans because I wanted to hear them sing! sam

Actually, now that I think about it, I did go to an outdoor concert in October to see a local group that I liked, Blue Eighty Eight, and a jazz concert a month or so ago in the KC Jazz district.  I survived the decibels.

The last concert I went to about three years ago was way too loud for me.  The longer it lasted, the louder it got.  After that I decided to stick with DVD concerts so I could adjust to my own liking.
