You are so right. And there is some of the philosphy if the person is over the age of 60 then don't get into a lot of treatment because they will be in need for the rest of their lifes. What I see is more the standard being placed around how productive a societal member they are or have been.

The ones without insurance seem to be treated so much differently for the most part! However my nephew had a tooth pulled that was infected and he ended up hospitalized, no insurance but they did keep him until they were certain he would make a full recovery! I wonder if some of it has to do with the ailment or perhaps even the age of the one inflicted! All I know is that disparity does exist! sam
