Wonderful memories shared, for both mother and child. On rainy days I was allowed ro spend hours in the spare room, where the cupboard was full of books, and I could choose the one I wanted,  and read, and read.....

When it wasn't a rainy day, we played outside in the fresh air and sunshine and sand or dirt and were tomboys.

How wonderful and I am sure that Mother enjoyed sharing some of her youth

with her little girlies too. All those babies and no modern conveniences. But she seems to have adored you all.
