Yes, research is wise. It sounds like a great idea though!

Wise to do your homework first!

My nearest car wash has a club and I will probably sign up one of these days. I think it would prod me to go more often, lol. From a business angle, sounds like a good idea.

RClubs are a common gimmick in other businesses that seem to increase customers. However your father would be able to predict. In any event good luck. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

If you do then you will wish for sunny days and queues of cars that just pass by not needing a wash at all. Happy days FS.

Re: lionreign

My guess is because B, the busiest is attended all day. I don't think he wants to add payroll to Location C to handle any issues. As far as D goes, I don't think people in the small rural town would pay for a monthly fee to make it work.

It certainly sounds worth researching.  I have one question though, why do it at the busiest location rather than a quieter one to make it busier?

one car wash in Sydney i know has a coffee shop and they wash dry vacuum

really clean the car inside and out. and you sit drinking coffee and reading a paper or chatting. It is expensive but is worth the experience.

A club for me is just a make work project with little increase in profits.I go, pay my $10.00 and drive away without a thought of anything else to do with a carwash.......

I think a club would be nice for your business, or, like at the coffee store, where you get a card and after it has been punched so many times...maybe 5 or 10 times, they get a free coffee. That would work too. I know because I have been going back to make sure I get my free coffees for a year now. I am sorry that I have fallen behind in my reading while in Denver as I forgot my lap top, but I am looking forward to getting caught up.

I've never heard of a "car wash club." I guess I just don't wash my car often enough!

It's always fun to try something new--and a little bit scary too.  It is good that you are being careful and studying the situation.

Sounds okay to me, but then I know nothing about it. It's a good idea to do all the necessry research first...
