Yes Pat, it is such a job to get someone who makes a job of it,I think this chap really likes coming, I knew his Dad whom he lost recently and I think it is a bit comforting for him.

Tap[s just looked out the window half seven here morning been up since five frosty everywhere, I'll have to wait and give my forecast for Winter, Floods are the worry for a lot of folk but we are on an old stone quarry and it never floods. The one next door is down ten feet or so lower and catches the road water so they have to be careful. So much for the drought we were promised.

The thorn lady - sounds like the bare bones of a fantasy story,
