I confess that the mess of fear and hatred over there is beyond me to sort out but I have a great deal of sympathy for the poor hard working people on both sides who are at risk of death for the sake of ideologies and power seeking.

I must admit, although I try to follow the news of what's going on over there, much of it is still confusing. I cannot choose sides. But for a soldier who is there trying to protect his family and his land, I can only say . . . one must do what one must do. Difficult times indeed!

Yes, something that I have known for a long time, now I turn today to
Egypt where the people long for Democracy as yet another Leader begins to create himself a dynasty....if he can.
