There may have been a few times when I was very angry with my dad for one reason or another, but never enough to want to even strike him, let alone kill him! I can't even imagine being driven to that point!

in today's society it is more and more prevalent...the abuse of drugs and alcohol make for an easier scenario that cant be undone

I have seen the scars of what fathers are capable of when they come home from bars or finish the drinking at home. I have also seen what those sons are capable of. There are places in this world where beauty must be sought out. By the way, I like that movie "The Wild Country", thought Peck played a good part.
