Re: Variables?
Very good, FS. There is much to think about in that particular situation--including how it ends. Thanks for commenting.

Re:
Now, that's wisdom, CCT. And I have enough confidence in the human race that we will rebuild in the event. Thanks for stopping by.

I'm also in agreeance with that. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Re: RamFamily
Hi, John. Well, as life can be so unpredictable, at times, and there is the fact that other forces are involved, I can believe that an "end" to it all is not the plan. But I also think that leaves room for preparation...if something were to happen that cause "life as we know it" to end. I mean, a simple thing such as a worldwide internet crash would end our establishment of communications, weaponry, and food delivery. Thanks for commenting.

I'm in agreeance with the notion of change, my friend. Thanks for reading and commenting.

If the world is going to end, I feel that there is nothing that we can do to stop it. Granted there a lot of variables to play around with though.

Everything must end probably, but we have no real concept of this. I also expect given the right conditions somehow somewhere something will regenerate in that medium called time.

If life as we know it ends....it will be the fault of we humans I believe
but like Wiley I personally have no fear of being dead.

"So if we play with the idea that there really is a chance that life--as we know it--could end, how do we prepare or even place light in this dark thought?"
It is a fact that life will end not an idea. At age 76, for me it isn't too far down the road. My light is inside me, Jesus put it there. There is no "End of the world" as people keep talking about. That just isn't the plan.

Life - as we know it - could do with some great, good changes. An end isn't always bad...just a change, and we humans are very adaptable.
