I was a skilled tradesman, blue collar dirty hands all my life or most of it anyway.I have no problem with the fact people who spent thousands of dollars getting educated, deserve a higher income. I spent time learning what I needed, and although I studied at times, I didn't pay cash for that. I love your posts now that I have found them.

Probably one is learned and a trade is ingrained. Some skills are not recognised as such, but I wish a guy who works on a high rise building or similiar project could take a Banker up with him and ask who deserves the most pay.

Not all physical jobs are in the lower paid category. Plumbers, electricians, and construction workers, etc. make high wages.

Oh yes, physical and mental jobs are of equal importance...Sadly a lot of physical jobs have been shipped overseas.
