Our yard material collection is free as well. My mother's neighborhood does not have a yard materials collection, not enough yard materials...I enjoy reading Wolfy looking back on life.

At least the little creature was cared for.  Too much too late, instead of too little too late for Granny.  Ha ha.  LOL.

Jay

No JA get a rabbit hedgehogs curl up into balls when approached, but they do get quite tame and will eat cat food and yessir slugs. They are also prickly. Probably be too hot for them in your County.

I was just wondering how long I should leave the honey on before the thinning comes? And do hedge hogs make good pets, or do you just use them to get the honey off. No seriously, do they make good pets? I liked the poem too you know.

Re: I'm glad you were kind to that little hedgehog. I hope it makes its way

It is struggle for wild life when it keeps raining Pat but I think the hedgehogs can find plenty of slugs.

Re: CC

Hi Wiley I shall get a couple of pots of honey to day today and try it out. The waste was not too bad for chicken, but it looked pretty awful to me.

Re: adbohr

Hello adnohr tell them the good news is Sonic made some little squeaks and mother hedghog came to the rescue, I expect he said 'I'm really hungry mummy.'.
"I'should really grumble at you running off like that,'' mummy replied. "I shall have to get you into a warm nest and lick you clean, "yummy yummy, Sonic said, "he wanted something that little babies have." The good news is he is now tucked up nice and warm and cuddling his mummy, which is a rather hard job to do when you've got prickles. Trouble is they would probably be fighting over you out there.

Poor hedgehog! We don't have them here - we've got porcupines! They're like hedgehogs with very long needles, and it's best to stay away from them, although they're not as dangerous as skunks...

And all that talk of waste reminds me: Yes, I am one of those gentlemen who has to give some thought to waist-reduction...

And which one of you guys is finally going to get the granny?

I told my rug rats that you saved a wee hedgehog, and they suggested you call it Sonic - after a famous video game super hedgehog! Then nothing could ever hurt it. Just passing on their message. The man was crazy feeding the recycled stuff to his animals! Loved the poem - thinking of adopting it to myself!!

Oh and could you feed the wee hedghog some milk with an eye drop thing.

Rain seems to be all you get Bro. You're a wonderful man, twisting the bugs off wee hedgehogs. I shall be drinking a lot of honey now after reading you. The waste disposal system you describe is, well, disgusting, LOL Painful both ends indeed.

Wolf's Granny

Good thing granny never married the lad who had reminded her of dad.

CThere’s an energy saving light bulb that can be bought. However it attracts and aids the breeding of bed bugs sir. When there are enough for the time it can be replaced with a standard 60 watt bulb. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
