i go on walks to help clear my head or read someone else's work to help....good luck...maybe the rich soil is letting you know that the creativity is there....just need to plant the seed

That's one way to look at it. But being a "former" artist and current writer, I can speak from experience that, if you're really not in the mood to write ( or paint ) forcing yourself will actually accomplish nothing. The motivation and desire must be present to apply toward the actions, or else you're simply shoveling the tide back against the ocean!
