You are doing a good job in trying. And I am sure you are very lucky in taking this Internet poetry class. I have been writing couplets for the last three years. My first book is in the process of publishing and it is named When Wisdom Stood... It is a total of 777 thoughts and quotes. I am half way done on my second book. And these are the quotes that I am sharing now with the all the blogit readers. Keep trying and I am sure you do well. Your poetry writings are beautiful. Good luck

I think the availability is there for the first time to anyone with desire to learn. Takes a little effort; the mechanical part of this internet is still difficult for some of us. I still do stupid things and have to reformat my disk, 
No, don't think the poetry need is motivated by "nostalgia" so much as a need to communicate. If you are creative, there is a need to share . When I tell acquaintances I "write poetry", I get a blank, non-committal stare. So...?? Well, I'm not going to make them read my poem! Besides, they were a bore before I sat down to talk with them. No, It's more fun to find victims here on the internet, victims like you...
