All I have to say is you've discovered the means to clearly haul out your resentments and look at them, deal with them and for folks like us my friend that is so very healthy.

Been reading..

You have an exceptional volume of work here, Jay. And it is really good! Are you going to publish it? You should, imo...
I'm also wondering why you don't have photos? Forgive the question if I missed the answer somewhere or if it is painful to think about..

Good moments at least, and you seem to have a vivid memory for some others .  I wish I had more too. Good poem.

The pictures tell so much...You have done a fine job in discussing your parents' emotions...I have few photos from my childhood.

I have long since lost all my old photos so i think I shall tell people I sprang full grown from the ground.  Beautiful poem, my friend

Still among the living...really. Let me ask you, do you have any baby pictures, any school pictures? If your grandson or grand daughter were to ask you what you looked like at 7 years old, or 9 years old, or when you were a baby could you show them? I cannot. All these pictures were are taken by siblings from my parents home along with everything else that was was in the house...Everything. The only past I have is in these pages. Its why I do this.

Memories of childhood are important. What happened then makes us who we are now. I like this poem!
