I really think if one does not understand computers it is best to buy one locally, OK you don't get a big deal, but it is handy to take the darn thing back and demand attention.

Ciel

I do understand - everything you say is familiar to me! However, I do know that I have experienced happiness in the past, and I know that I have not lost the capacity for it to this day. Of course, we cannot ever hope for it to become a 'steady state' for us, but I still ave moments when I am light-heartedly, cheerfully happy, and I hope I'll never lose that...And it is those moments, those brief times whose light sometimes dispel the shadows and helps make them bearable...

It takes courage to keep on sometimes. That is when I say God it is too

hard for me, you do itand I always feel much better some time later.

Computers are terrible. They are getting worse not better. Full of crap one doesn't need and that just makes it all more difficult. Can't live with it, can't live without it. Good luck dear that tomorrow is better and please don't let me start on Staples.

For some reason this blog reminded me of something Mom used

to say about a second marriage: it is proof of the triumph of hope over experience.  Knowing how fragile success and happiness can be, but having the guts to keep going for it demands a certain determination. Maybe there won't be light-hearted joy or even a confident recognition of the universe as beautiful, but there is a certain begrudging admission that it's not all bad, all the time.
