Re: OK I will try but me and roses are not really doing well yet.
Oh dear Kabu just do one petal at a time, even I could do it and if I draw a cat it looks like a pig.

Re:
Marrise as if dreams would come true, I don't honestly think poetry sells and I really don't care. It is like catching a fish and putting it back in the water.

Well as it is my birthday tomorrow Jay Uncle Albert is going to give lecture on writing poetry. I don't know if I should let him as he has strong views.

I agree with Pat_B. Both these poems are a lovely read. Pretty flower too.

I never knew what linseed was or where it came from. Like so many other things I thought it was simply by magic. It is a lovely rose CC, but it smells like a computer screen to me.

I was taken with the mysticism and beauty of the Linseed poem. What a moment... And as always, a most impressive rose with a distinct personality. If not Hallmark, for the romantic poems, maybe Amazon. Just a thought...

Truly, CCT, your poems should be gathered in a book by Hallmark,
covered with fine Corinthian leather, stamped in gold leaf, and reserved for lovers to give one another for St. Valentine's day. Such wistful sweetness, so seldom experienced in this hugger-mugger world.

It's tough when one realizes that nothing will develop from the relationship...What a scene with the flowers. It really adds to the poem.
