Nice wheels, Jess! Part of the fun of buying a house is looking around, I find. I don't want to think about packing...lots of my unpacking had not yet been done, and it has been many, many years.

I like the car!! They will grab all the money they can get at any time when collecting.  I don't like that.  Hope your search goes well, and kudos to you for guiding Jes with her finances.

Nice-looking car! And it sounds as though you might, at some point, overdo it a bit! Pace yourself! That garage isn't going anywhere!

Whatever happened to pay as you go?   Is it not possible anymore to save up money ahead of time, and do without until one has the money to buy?  Does one have to have a credit rating in this day and age?   Yes, I have a credit card and probably a credit rating (though I've never asked what it might be).   Nothing is ever simple is it.

I have been tyring to think of something worse than moving. When I do I will let you know. I am so happy for you that you got your wish to get out of there. We just got a reverse mortgage so goodbye to house payments for ever for us, and happy new car for Jes. We are in the market for a new old car as well as the Lincoln is making funny noises now and I'm to old to care what they are...Its just that the stero is so darn good in that car...Ya know.

Good idea Sam and with a bit of care the car the car should last well. Goodness our petrol is jumping up the pipe I thought I would get a gallon and a half for my mowers etc and fill the tank on the car which was not half empty I had put a twenty pound note handy and just had enough to buy a bar of chocolate out of forty pounds I think it is over I.75 a litre.I saw another man put 50 pounds worth in and one young girl 7pounds worth to get her home I would imagine.
